Once again, we get into the issue of politics vs gaming. I understand that modern conflicts can be covered by gaming, but its just too touchy of an issue for this list.
So in general, please do not raise national policy issues, they are just too broad and fall out of the military/history theme of the BGB list.
Also I ask you please do not respond with snippy remarks using the stopped Thread title line (Not that I can't take a joke but that other may feel that you are violating the stop thread rule) Also do not retitie the thread and continue on the same argument. I willl put a stop on your posts in a heart beat.
Not sure why Jim bailed on the list, but so be it. (maybe he thought it wasn't political and I was unfair). But I must error on the side of caution. I have zero desire to do this, but nobody else wants to step up and be the bad guy. I got shit on by various people the last time I tried to defuse a fight. (that I was not involved in) I did not enjoy it then, and I'm not enjoying it now.
When I ask you to stop a thread do not take this personally, I'm just trying to keep the list together and civil.
