Just finished it yesterday.

Very good account of the decision making before, during and immediately
after the second iraq war (well immediately after major combat
operations...)

Probably the best I've read so far.

Bit dry for the battle bits, decent enough accounting of them but for me
the real value is the decision making (or lack thereof) leading up to
the war and the near complete lack of planning for after.

Also suggests the majority of the insurgency was unavoidable, a
conclusion which I find somewhat surprising.  But it's well laid out -
